April 17, 2016-“I have long feared that my sins would return to haunt me, and the cost would be more than I could bear.” Whoever said that was right, for that is how I was feeling at any given moment. I knew that Simbicile was plotting something against me and I hated how my guts churned in trepidation as I waited for the proverbial axe to fall.
I was reading in my lair as usual, The Great Catsby, when I heard a noise coming from upstairs; the small, stupid human was conversing with someone at the front of the prison gate. I crept up the stairs carefully to get a better vantage point of the situation; there stood a medium sized human and a small sized human (smaller than the small, stupid one that was imprisoning me). I had seen these humans before-they controlled the prison next to ours. The smaller one was holding some kind of rope but I could not see what was at the end of it. They were horrible captors I assumed because I would oft hear howling that came from their lawn but at least the canine that they were incarcerating got an hour of yard time…we didn’t get any at all.
My captors were ghastly and they always kept the place on lockdown…until this moment. I saw a glimmer of freedom-the front prison gate was left open! This was my chance; I inched my way closer and prayed that I would go undetected. I took a deep breath and felt a pair of hands on my backside; I whipped around and there stood Simbicile…he was pushing me out the prison gate! Thoughts swirled in my mind, why the sudden sense of camaraderie? I had been horrible to him and here he was assisting my escape! I had been wrong about him, I should’ve been a better cell mate!
Little did I know that this was all part of his sinister plan to get back at me for exposing his greatest fear…
April 13, 2016- Victory was mine and my evil plan was working! I had made the small, stupid human believe that it was Simba who caused the mass destruction! I jumped down from her shoulder and sauntered down the hallway to the food room and the human and I parted ways but Simbicile followed me.
I sat splendidly, in all of my glory, in front of my food dish. I knew Simbicile would want a word with me and I was prepared. “What the hell was that?” He asked me in an angry tone. I smiled sweetly and licked my paw, “I have no idea what you’re talking about,” I answered in my most pleasant voice. He stood nose to nose with me and glared into my stunning, emerald eyes and hissed, “YOU are the one who made the mess, NOT Me, but I took the blame for it!” I chuckled and said, “I did nothing of the sort! How dare you accuse me of doing such a thing?” I could barely contain my laughter! At this point Simbicile was very angry and his breath quickened, he showed his teeth to me and growled.
I could hear the small, stupid human coming down the hallway so I put my plan into action. I swatted Simbicile across the face as hard as I could and ran a few steps away. This enraged him and he tackled me to the floor, he bit me on the jugular and I screamed at the top of my lungs! The small, stupid human rushed over and rescued me from his murderous grip, I whimpered for effect when she held me and she stroked me softly. I rubbed against her face, (desperate times call for desperate measures) and purred. “Simba! That’s enough!” she shouted at him. His eyes got wild with indignation and I could see he was about to snap…my evil plan was unfurling exactly how I wanted it to!
It could have all ended here if Simbicile was a little brighter but of course it didn’t. The small, stupid human released me from her grasp and Simba took a step towards me, I pretended to cower in fear and the small, stupid human addressed him again, “That’s enough!” She turned around and I witnessed one of the most magnificent events that would ensure my innocence…I couldn’t believe what I saw….
April 11. 2016-The wretched human reached for me with the gloves and pulled me out of the corner. She petted my fur gently and with every stroke I died a little inside; I hated when she touched me and was contemplating which appendage to rip off of her first. She proceeded to put me in the basin but not without a fight! The small, stupid human managed to immerse me in the water but I quickly emerged, soaking wet from tip to tail. I started growling; she was insufferable and I could not put up with this blatant attempt on my life any longer! She grabbed at me as I leapt onto the edge of the basin and straight for the doorway; I scratched her arm with my razor sharp claws and her blood ran into the basin and turned the water red-Success was imminent! As luck would have it the large, stupid human opened the door at that exact moment and I sped down the staircase and into my lair.
The stupid humans raced after me and somehow manged to abduct me and take me to a second location which was the clothes cleaning room. I saw the basin and started to writhe in anger; I would not be submerged again! I hissed and spat at them as a final warning and my eyes ignited with anger; I would rip them to shreds if they tried to assassinate me again. Simbiclile was watching from a distance and suddenly, a brilliant plan entered my brain! I ran over to Simba and took him as my hostage. I pushed him out in front of me and used his massive girth as a barrier between me and the humans. I would not hesitate to trade his life for my own! The small, stupid one struggled to lift him and suddenly I was covered in darkness…the world had gone black and I was entangled in some sort of blanket.
I was lowered into a basin with the blanket still covering me all except for my face, a sudden rush of warmth spread over my chiseled, adonis like body and three hands held me in place. Another hand poured the water over the blanket and it became totally saturated. The water was black with dirt, I howled out in pain and managed to get a paw out of the restraint. The stupid humans rubbed the blanket over me and my fur stood on end; I jumped from the basin and sped off to my hiding spot to try and groom the poison off of myself…it would take the next seventeen consecutive hours to restore my majestic coat to it’s original luster and sheen…the night would be long and tedious but at least I would have the chance to plot revenge to deliver to Simbicile to repay him for his betrayal. I knew exactly what needed to be done and looked forward to his demise! Mwah ha ha…
