Seabass’ Diary…Day 42…Chaos…

May 16, 2016-The truck continued to move and before I knew it we were pulling out onto the street! I raced to the front and looked through the windshield-Bandit needed help from all of us to drive.

“ALVIIIIN!” I yelled and the little chipmunk came running, “I need you to sit on the dashboard and give Frank and I instructions to slow down or speed up…can you read?”

“Why yes sir, I was at the top of my class at Cambri…”

“Shut up!” I interrupted “We need to stay at 50 km/h…anything over 50 tell us to slow down and anything under 50 tell us to speed up-do you understand?” He shook his head yes and Frank the opossum joined me on the pedals. I took the right and he took the left. Simba and Stinky were the navigators and Bandit steered the truck. We were all at the front of the vehicle when Simba glanced in the rear view mirror and saw Terry slowwwwwly tottering down the street behind us; his armoured shell shone by the light of the street lamp.

“There’s Terry! We need to go back for him!” Simba shouted. “No, at this point it’s too late,” Bandit said. This caused a division in the group, “But we must!” Alvin said,  “There will be no man left behind!” Frank said but I disagreed, “He should’ve been in the truck at it’s departure, at this point he’s a liability!” I stepped on the right pedal and the truck roared down the road, Frank jumped on the left pedal and the truck came to a screeching halt; Simba wrestled Bandit for control of truck and I stepped on the gas again. Plates fell from the cupboards and food was everywhere! The truck was out of control and because of the chaos that was happening inside we did not hear the sirens getting closer.

Seabass’ Diary…Day 28…A Veil Has Been Lifted

April 26, 2016-I retreated to my lair and tried to push Stephanie out of my mind. I tossed and turned throughout the night and images of her unfaithfulness kept me awake. My heart grew more cold with every passing hour. I finally decided what I would do; I would purge her from my thoughts by keeping myself occupied. I would rise from the ashes once again like a mighty Phoenix. I would make myself so busy causing chaos that I would be too tired to think of her when the night came. I grabbed my notebook and began writing furiously. I scribble the words OPERATION MONTY at the top of the page.

The next morning I awoke and felt much better than I had the night before. I would not let ANYONE get me down; for a split second yesterday I let someone take away my power, I let her get inside of my head and distort my reality…this would never happen again. I would never allow someone to make me feel less than the magnificent beast that I truly am! Victory would once again be mine!

I emerged from my lair and carefully searched for Monty. I did not want him to know about the unfortunate fate that was soon to befall him. There he sat, drool hung from his bottom lip, and a stupid look covered his face. I’m not really sure if he had any other look to be honest. The filthy beggar. I crept up the staircase, Simbicile was sleeping and I tiptoed over him with out waking him…success. Monty was staring at the wall…sigh…yes the wall, I snuck up behind him and acquired my target; I chomped down as hard as I could on his tail and fled at full speed from the living room. He howled in pain and like a bull in a china shop he smashed into a large cabinet. The sheer force of his body knocked over many valuable glass items inside and they shattered into thousands of tiny pieces! He skidded down the hallway and our high speed chase had only begun! I slid into my hiding place and avoided the gnashing of his jaws. I felt exhilarated and happy to be back!

He’s baaackkk!

Seabass’ Diary…Day 18…

April 15, 2016- I was ready for the human’s arrival she would be here in a moment and would bear witness to the destruction that I had caused. She should’nt have crossed me, she was getting exactly what she deserved!

The small, stupid human entered the food room and cupped her hand over her mouth; her eyes were wide with anger. She sank to the floor and this seemed to bother Simbicile quite a lot; he tried to comfort her but I could tell she was weary…good, it meant that I was breaking her down and before long I would assume control over the entire prison. I jumped down from the counter into the middle of the mess and somehow this enraged Simbicile; he flew at me and tackled me to the ground.

I laid on my back and kicked him in the face, he gnashed at my jugular and the potting soil from the plant covered our coats and spread further across the floor. Our bodies were entangled and we looked like a tumbleweed of fur; I bit down as hard as I could on Simbicile’s throat and he howled out in pain! The small, stupid human broke up our violent struggle, we fled to the basement and went our separate ways to lick our wounds and to restore our pride.

I could hear the small, stupid one clean up the mess that I had made and all of the sudden it was if a light bulb went off in my mind. I knew exactly how to acquire my revenge on Simbicile for his blatant betrayal…I had forgotten all about this! There was one thing that he was deathly afraid of, so afraid that he would cower in terror and retreat to his hiding place…and I was definitely going to use it against him.

Get ready for revenge!

Seabass’ Diary…Day 17…

April 14, 2016- The small, stupid human turned her back to Simbicile after scolding him. A rage inside of him bubbled up because of the false accusations and he could take no more. He CHOMPED down on the back of her ankle as hard as he could and she squealed out in pain! This was one of the best days of my life! I prayed that the wound was deep enough that she would slowly pass away from blood loss.

Simbicile let go of her ankle and sped away…perhaps he was learning a few things from me? One could only hope! His alliance would make it easier to do away with the humans. The small, stupid one hobbled to the litterbox room and cleaned her wounds. I laughed loudly…what a glorious turn of events; I would soon dethrone Simbicile to become the chosen one! I watched from a distance; Simbicile slowly crept into the litterbox room and sat loyally beside the stupid one’s feet. She cleaned the dripping blood off of herself and just stared at him. “I have no idea what’s gotten into you but I don’t like it!” She said to him and this seemed to crush his spirit. But their bond was stronger than I thought…she gently picked him up and held him. He rubbed his face against hers and started to purr.

But why? What was happening? My plan had failed and I was angry! Their act made my blood run even colder and at that moment I realized that their bond could never be broken no matter what…and at that moment I made a choice. I would not frame Simbicile anymore, no, I would take ownership of my destruction and create more chaos. While those two idiots were canoodling, I would be plotting more mayhem and would begin at this very moment to resume my reign of terror. I raced into the food room and jumped onto the counter, there was foliage in a glass container with dirt in it; I swatted it onto the floor, dirt spilled everywhere and there was a thunderous crash! I continued to throw objects to the floor that got in my way; there was no stopping me! A jug full of liquid, a glass plate, even a jar of treats all crashed to the floor. The jar that held our rewards when we were “good kitties” spilled open (We barely ever received these morsels because the small, stupid human clearly did not recognize good behaviour) and I ate as many as I could as quickly as I could because I could hear impending doom… and it was headed straight for me…
