Cat of The Week!…Raphael

Hi Furriends,

This week’s Cat of The Week was sent in by a dear reader Katelynn (with the help of her mom Monica) from Abbotsford, British Columbia. Katelynn is five years old! Here is the story of her cat Raphael in her own words. This is probably one of the most adorable things I’ve ever read! Too funny! Enjoy.

Raphael is my cat. He’s brown and white and black and is soft and furry. He’s allowed to go outside and sometimes brings birds into the house. He’s not allowed to do that because birds are supposed to only be outside not inside. I love him and he sleeps on my bed on my pillow. Sometimes I let him have the whole pillow. His favourite treats are Party Mix and I only am supposed to give him one or two but sometimes I give him five. He purrs and purrs and is my best friend. He’s older than me and used to be my mom and dad’s cat but now he’s mine because he likes me the most and I’m actually his mom now. Once he crawled into my backpack and I wanted to bring him to Ms. Jessica’s but my mom said no. I cried. The End. Ps. He is named Raphael because he is called a turtle cat (tortoise shell) and there was a turtle named that on t.v. when he was a boy. My dad named him.

Cat of The Week…Snowy!

This week’s Cat of the Week features Snowy! Thank you Squibbler5 for sending me this wonderful story about your beloved feline friend.

The Kitty Cat Clan and all of our readers and followers would like you to know that we hope your wife feels better soon and that her health continues to improve. Wishing her the very best, now and always.

Here’s Snowy’s story:

We have had Snowy for 7 years. We rescued her from a large litter of cats, for which she was the runt. We have given her a lot of love. She now lives in a house of 5 cats. She had an unknown illness, unbeknownst to us, as the vet told us. She is now a healthy active cat. She is part siamese but you wouldn’t know it. We went looking for a cat to help my wife through her illness. My wife has congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy, so Snowy helped her immensely through this period.
